SHANNA| DESTINATION BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER | COLFAX, CA | BELLA ROSA PHOTOGRAPHY
SHANNA
This Bella Rosa beauty is Shanna!
I love her testimonial so much
because it is SO true!!
We don’t (often) photograph “real models”.
I know the ladies we share look like models,
but they truly are just normal women!
Women who work hard, women with kids,
women with different stories.
I wish I could share every story I hear with all of YOU!
It would change your life
The entire boudoir session was done
in our boudoir studio in Colfax, CA
Hope you enjoy a few images from her session!
Her session was on Snapchat (brittany.rose3) too!

“Honestly, the testimonials.. You think it has to be an exaggeration when you read them. There’s no way somebody & a camera can change the entire perception years of self evaluation & judgment from society have given you. We laugh at Mean Girls in that one scene where they’re all 4 standing in front of the mirror listing things that need to be improved, but that’s real life. Every day in little ways we do that to ourselves and to others maybe without even realizing it."
“Who doesn’t like someone telling you how “bomb” or “gorgeous” you look like non-stop for a couple hours. I almost wish I could hire someone to only do that all day!”
“I LOVED. It’s so weird when you’re watching them because you’re like no way that’s not me. I eat pizza rolls; I can’t be a model. It’s like when you’re creeping on someone famous’ Social Media, I typically pine over the beauty of others. This time I was actually starstruck by my own.”
“Just do it. It’s not something you can deprive yourself of especially if you are like me and are critical of yourself, or just need a reminder of the fact that your beautiful. On camera you’re pretty exposed, but that just means more beautiful parts of you aren’t covered up it gives you a chance to fall in love with yourself, and just chill out on the body shaming.
After the shoot, I told my boyfriend how much of an impact this had for me because he was a little concerned that strangers were taking pics of me in my underwear, and I was literally in tears outside of Costa Vida about to go in and eat a massive burrito… Because for the first time in like ever I was loving every part of myself. We all have flaws, not everyone’s supposed to look the same though. Our differences make us a real life piece of artwork & that’s portrayed perfectly in your photos.
It’s nerve racking at first, but then afterwards you feel empowered, AND THEN after your viewing session you’re gonna be like Victoria Secret Fashion Show here I come, I’m a badass underwear model.”
